Caption: "115 Co., Fort Rosecrans.," c. 1905. View of the 115th Company of the U.S. Army Coast Artillery Corps, standing in formation. The 115th was formed at the San Diego Barracks in 1901 and subsequently moved to Fort Rosecrans on Point Loma near San Diego. They remained at the fort until 1924 when the company was moved to Puget Sound in Washington.

Caption: "Mirror Lake," c. 1917. Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park, on Tenaya Creek, is the remains of a glacial lake that used to fill most of the valley. Its calm waters provide near-perfect reflections of the surrounding natural splendor.

Caption: "Court House - Los Angeles." c. 1915-1920. The Los Angeles County Courthouse, also known as the Red Sandstone Courthouse, was completed in 1891. Located at the southeast corner of Temple and Broadway, the courthouse was damaged beyond repair by the 1933 Long Beach earthquake and demolished in 1936. To the left of the courthouse stands the Hall of Records, built in 1911 and used, along with other buildings, as the county courthouse from 1934 until 1959, when the current courthouse was occupied. The Hall of Records was demolished in 1973.

Coolidge and dedicated in 1903, the church was commissioned by Jane Stanford as a memorial to her husband, Leland Stanford. See also 96-07-08-alb04-202 and 96-07-08-alb05-063.
