Henry later established a larger factory in the town that now bears his name (Oxnard, in Ventura County). The factory operated for more than twenty-five years before closing in October 1917.

Held in Seattle to celebrate the development of the Pacific Northwest, the fair attracted 3.7 million visitors over the course of its run from June to October 1909. Several buildings constructed for the exposition now serve as part of the University of Washington campus.
