Caption: "City Hall -- Miami -- Florida, June 30 1934." This photograph depicts the Miami-Dade County Courthouse (not Miami's City Hall). Designed by architect A. Ten Eyck Brown, the Courthouse was constructed between 1925-1928. At the time of its construction, it was the tallest building in Florida.

Caption: "Tower Falls [sic] - Yellowstone Park," c. 1923. Tower Fall is a 132' waterfall, located on Tower Creek in the northeastern region of Yellowstone National Park. Its name derives from several pinnacles of rock at the head of the fall.

Caption: "Fairmount Ruins." Shows the damage from the 1906 earthquake fire to the Fairmont Hotel on Nob Hill in San Francisco, 1906. Although construction was mostly finished in 1906, the advent of the San Francisco earthquake and fire of that year damaged the hotel's interior and delayed opening until 1907. It was the first hotel in what is now the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts chain. In 1945, the San Francisco hotel was host to an international conference that culminated in the formation of the United Nations.

Caption: "Elevation of Garbage Rm. - Pacific Colony." Pacific State Hospital. Design and drawing by Alfred Eichler. Built. Project for Department of Mental Hygiene - Hospitals. The hospital was initially named Pacific Colony (1927-1953), followed by Pacific State Hospital (1953-1979); Frank D. Lanterman State Hospital and Developmental Center; and finally Lanterman Developmental Center, which closed in 2015.

Caption: "Tenaya Lake Resort." Small cabins in front of rocky mountainside. Named after Chief Tenaya of Yosemite Valley's Ahwahnechee People, Tenaya Lake is located between Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows within Yosemite National Park. The surface elevation of the alpine lake is 8,150 feet.
